Our bucket list is so long that we break it down into monthly instalments, better known as Man of Many’s Most Wanted. Each one comes fully loaded with killer products and a wide range of categories and experiences, some of which are affordable whilst others are well beyond reach (but we can dream, can’t we?). On this month’s instalment, you’ll find everything from swanky sports cars to ultra-premium watches to more accessible items such as drones, books, sneakers, and fragrances. Here’s a closer look at everything that caught our eyes and enticed our wallets in February 2023.

1. New Balance 580 Sneakers
A quintessential “Dad” brand perhaps, but we’ll be damned if New Balance doesn’t make some supremely comfortable and supportive footwear. Their new 580 reissues a retro classic that rose to fame on the streets of Tokyo’s Harajuku district. Back and better than ever, the athletic shoe offers tasteful upgrades such as a slimmed-down toe and decreased collar height. It’s also distinctive due to a chunky Rollbar system at the heel. Combine all that with the brand’s high-quality construction methods and you get one heck of a reliable sneaker in return.

2. Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph 5500V/110A-B686
When we go to sleep, we dream of watches like this one from the Swiss luxury brand Vacheron Constantin. Equal parts sporty and sophisticated, it puts black counters against a silvered dial within a case of high-grade steel. Around the back, a transparent window of sapphire glass reveals an oscillating weight of 22k gold, prime mechanics, and assorted decorative elements. Inspired by the spirit of travel, the piece is a masterclass of expert craftsmanship and streamlined design.

3. FRED Force 10 Bracelet
When is a simple bracelet so much more than a simple bracelet? When it comes from Fred Joaillier—or FRED for short—a French jeweller of considerable history and prestige. The brand’s Force 10 bracelet was first created in 1966 and its combination of black woven steel and 18k yellow gold buckle appears no less striking in a modern-day setting. Rendering maximum impressions out of a minimalist design, it imparts the kind of breezy swagger that few can afford.

4. Leica Cine 1 Laser TV
German camera brand Leica’s first laser TV projector is a potential game-changer of its respective domain. Dubbed the Cine 1, it uses triple RGB laser technology and an ultra-short throw lens to toss brilliant picture quality up on the nearest wall or projection screen, complete with 4K image reproduction and life-like colour resolution. Oh, and did we mention the sleek aluminium framework, built-in Dolby Atmos speakers, and integrated Smart TV launcher? Yeah, this thing is a beast!

5. Ralph Lauren RRL Appliqued Wool Cardigan
We’re picking up all the right vibes from Ralph Lauren’s RRL Appliqued Wool Cardigan, which was inspired by vintage jumpers. Worsted wool yarn is loosely knit to give the long-sleeve garment its palpable heft and an ultra-soft feel. The respective patch embroideries of an eagle and label logo on the front side inject no shortage of visual flair. Sealing the deal are a plush shawl collar and large corozo buttons.

6. Porsche 911 Sport Classic
Our monthly bucket list is incomplete if it doesn’t include at least one luxurious sports car. This Porsche 911 Sport Classic will surely suffice for all kinds of obvious reasons. The design language draws upon two iconic predecessors—the original 911 and the 911 Carrera RS 2.7—whilst the performance specs are ripped straight out of the modern age. Under the hood, a 3.7-litre bi-turbo boxer engine takes the manual ride from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 315 km/h. But who needs details when you can just look at this thing and behold its blatant prowess and beauty?

7. Dior Multi-Coloured Dinner Set
Dior’s creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri took inspiration from Andalusian motifs when designing this 100% earthenware, hence the striking pattern and vivid colour on each plate. It makes up part of the brand’s Cruise 2023 collection, which is bursting with eye-popping images and bright pastel shades.

19. Orlebar Brown Signal Blue Shorter-Length Swim Shorts
It takes a special pair of swim shorts to make our “most wanted” list and these ones from Orlebar Brown certainly fit the bill. The brand culled inspiration from vintage cravats when applying the stylish retro pattern over a Signal Blue hue. Branded adjustable side fasteners and concealed snap closures drive home the singular vibe whilst also enabling a perfect fit. This is resort wear done right.
