The collection marks Wheels Up’s first foray into fashion. Recognising a shared ethos with Malbon and the obvious overlap in customer base , Lee Applbaum, CMO at Wheels Up, revealed why they decided to tee it up with the golf brand.
“Malbon is an innovative brand in a pretty homogenous golf apparel space, and speaks to the disruptive and inclusive spirit that is such an important part of our Wheels Up brand,” he said in an exclusive statement.
“We worked directly with their designers and influencers to deliver this small capsule collection and couldn’t be prouder of the products, including their signature ‘Buckets’ mascot with an old school aviator helmet and goggles, exclusive to Wheels Up. This kind of subtle design element is what makes this collection truly bespoke.”
The capsule features a number of tightly edited pieces in neutrals and pops of blue, the signature colours of Wheels Up. It includes several tops, polos, tees, a crewneck sweater, and quarter-zip sweaters all embroidered with the Malbon Golf x Wheels Up Buckets motif. Additionally, players can cop a specially designed golf bag and a number of hats. Despite only launching yesterday, some items have already sold out so get in quick while stocks last.
The collection is available to purchase on Malbon’s website, with Wheel’s Up planning to create its own online store for future collaborations.
