Welcome to another edition of the Wind Up, our weekly series where we highlight the latest watch releases of the past seven days. In this week’s instalment, we’ll be featuring new watches from Urwerk, Rado and Breitling. Enjoy gents!
Girard-Perregaux Casquette 2.0
Girard-Perregaux dropped the new Casquette 2.0, a piece that draws upon the inspiration of the 1970s original. This new model ushers in a new era of watchmaking, where novel materials like titanium and ceramic were used by Girard-Perregaux. Nostalgia at its finest.
Urwerk UR-112 Aggregat Odyssey
New from Urwerk is the UR-112 Aggregat Odyssey. With its super contemporary titanium and steel case construct, the new UR-112 Aggregat Odyssey is an indeed a visceral spectacle that combines tradition with modernity.
Rado Captain Cook “Burgundy”
Rado has unveiled the latest variation of its acclaimed Captain Cook, this time in a lovely Burgundy colour. The dial features a graduated dial, moving from dark red hues all the way to black the closer you move to the edge of the dial. Absolutely gorgeous.
Breitling x Triumph
Breitling has partnered with the esteemed motorcycle brand to create the new Top Time Triumph. Inspired by the new Speed Twin motorcycle from Triumph, modelled after the 1960s café-racer culture, the new Top Time Triumph features an icy-blue “Zorro” dial, an engraved caseback with a sketch of Triumph’s parallel twin engine, along with the opportunity to purchase one of the 270 limited edition motorcycles.
