One of the most recognisable vehicles in motion picture history, the “Batmobile” first appeared in Batman’s Detective Comics #48 in February 1941. Since then, it’s seen multiple iterations, from George Barris’ 1966 Lincoln, which he transformed in just three weeks, to Michael Keaton’s jet-powered offering in Tim Burton’s 1989 film. However, none have been more popular than Bruce Wayne’s ‘Tumbler’, which appeared in Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Dark Knight’, driven by Christian Bale as Batman.
If you’ve ever dreamed about owning one of these vehicles (who hasn’t?), now could be your chance. Ten of these Tumbler Batmobiles are being made thanks to Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP) and Relevance International.
Priced from USD$2,990,000, they will be available via allocation only at brucewaynex.com, and feature everything from functional smoke screens to imitation turrets.

Once you’ve been selected as one of the ten owners and an allocation slot has been secured, the production timeline is 15 months from the date of deposit. This is impressive, considering these vehicles are not simply movie props; they’re functional, made from scratch, and jam-packed with realistic features that allow you to channel your inner Batman. They’re also quite powerful, and you’ll find car-like technology inside.
This custom aeronautical steel-framed vehicle is powered by a 6.2-litre LS3 (like you’ll find in a VF II Holden Commodore) and has been mated to a GM 4L85E Transmission with a Paddle Shift. The engine produces 525 horsepower and 486FT Ibs of torque, which is more than enough for a 2.5-tonne (5,511 lbs) vehicle with limited visibility.
You’re also getting stainless steel headers, so it will sound as mean as it looks. Sadly, the jet engine is a simulation and does not produce flames. That’s okay, though, because the smoke screen, imitation turrets, and authentic interior with bespoke seating trim more than make up for the realism. We’re also pretty sure you could rig up the jet engine to shoot flames.
On that, the cabin features are pretty extensive for a handcrafted vehicle with a 2-seat configuration. Beyond the authentic layout of the interior, you get creature comforts such as a digital dashboard, GPS, 10-inch screens, air conditioning, black Alcantara headlining, a choice of MPH/KM/H gauges, and 5-point racing car seat harnesses for safety. Oh, and did we mention there are one-way mirrored glass screens?
We only know of one other Tumbler Batmobile in existence, and that’s owned by Alex ‘Lambo Jesus’, who commissioned Marc Irvin of RPM Productions to create a Batman Tumbler. He drives it on his YouTube channel and posts about it on his Instagram, which you can see below.
