For the first time in eighteen months, Lark Distillery (Tasmanian whisky revolution OGs), and producers of some of the finest liquid to leave the Apple Isle, have restocked their shelves with the lauded single malt. Founded by the pioneering Bill Lark in 1992 (who now acts as Brand Ambassador), Lark was one of the first Tasmanian distilleries to set up shop in over 150 years.
In that time, demand has severely outweighed supply, and as such, getting your hands on a bottle of Lark has been nigh on impossible. Until now (though maybe not for long).
Available at the cellar door in Hobart, or on their online store, the current range includes their Classic Cask expression, at 43% ABV, Distillers Selection at 46% ABV, and Cask Strength at 58% ABV.
“We are extremely excited to share this whisky with Australia”, says Katy Took, Marketing & Sales Representative for Lark Distillery.
“For us, we are not only releasing whisky; we are celebrating the start of the next chapter of Lark Distillery and our whisky adventure”.
Lark’s whiskies are notorious for selling out pretty damn fast, so we’d advise you score yourself a bottle (even one of their 100mL examples) as soon as possible–before you have to wait another year and a half.
