The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 is the latest model of the sporting brand’s all-time best-selling running shoe, refreshed with new technology and a unique “glowing” neon colourway.
Pegasus 36 features a mesh design with perforations to enhance breathability across high-heat areas such as the forefoot and arch. Exposed Flywire cables in the midfoot keep your feet secure as you pick up speed. The heel collar and tongue are slimmer, meaning a more comfortable fit than before.
Pegasus 36 maintains the full-length Zoom Air unit first introduced in the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 35. It’s encased by foam in the midsole and offers a smooth, responsive, cushioned ride that Nike says you can rely on day after day.
The 2019 Nike Zoom Family, that includes the ZoomX Vaporfly Next%, features a new neon green colour as one of its options. This is the most visible colour to the human eye, and Nike designers created a unique version of the neon hue called Nike Phantom Glow because its chemical makeup generates an energetic glowing effect.
The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36 is available now within Australia online and at select retailers for RRP $180.
To coincide with the release of these trainers, and the Matildas’ World Cup campaign, team defender Ellie Carpenter has launched a Guided Run on the Nike Run Club app.
Free to download and use, the Nike Run Club app includes Guided Runs from Nike athletes and fans including long-distance runner Eliud Kipchoge, comedian Kevin Hart and a mindful run hosted by Headspace. The app aims to boost your motivation and get you moving, while tracking progress and offering tips and coaching for levels.
“I couldn’t even imagine my life without doing some sort of running, said Ellie Carpenter. “If I’m in a bad mood, I just go for a run and feel instantly better.”
