Are you searching for a healthcare routine that’s more than a traditional gym or circuit class? If so, Gurner Group has something that might pique your interest. The Aussie company’s launching its ‘Saint Haven’ experience — a multi-million-dollar wellness, recovery and anti-ageing club in Collingwood, Melbourne this coming March.
“Wellness is not a gym, it is not just a meditation cave or a recovery centre; it goes so far beyond fitness. True wellness is about a genuine practice bringing together every pillar of wellness into one space to take people’s lives to a whole new level,” says founder and CEO, Tim Gurner.
So what exactly can members expect from the Saint Haven experience? Well, for starters, they’ll have access to hyperbaric oxygen chambers, anti-ageing treatments and personalised health check-ups — and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. There are also tailored programs concentrating on nutrition, rest, recovery and treatments to optimise a member’s health journey. It’s all based on data accessed via an Oura ring monitoring device.
Interestingly, Saint Haven’s the brainchild of Gurner’s 20-year health discovery that’s been focused on biohacking and longevity practices, and plenty of investment into the best technologies to match. A report from The Australian revealed that Gurner is planning on launching 10 Saint Haven outlets across Australia, and potentially Los Angeles, “over the next three to four years”.
At Saint Haven, there’s an emphasis on the concept of calmness and relaxation (steering clear of any resemblance to a typical gym or wellness facility), with interiors inspired by Northern Italy’s wellness retreats and bath houses — think a muted palette of limestone, natural oak and marble. You’ll even find the signature Saint Haven scent on arrival made from the purest essential oils and a curated collection of art scattered throughout the site.
Regarding training zones, members can choose from Strength + Conditioning, High-Intensity Interval Training, Yoga, Meditation & Breathwork, Reformer Pilates and Performance Cycling options. They’ve even partnered up with Mick Fanning’s elite performance coach, Nam Baldwin, mindfulness expert, Charlotte Thaarup and four-time Tour de France stage winner, Simon Gerrans.
If you’re interested in joining, you’ll need to attend an interview process, with memberships ranging from AUD$130 per week (standard) up to the north of $1,000 per week for unlimited access. We’re thrilled to see the continued transformation of the wellness industry and we can’t wait to have our own Saint Haven experience soon!
