The heritage British luggage brand was established in Bury, Lancashire in 1914 and has been designing industry-leading luggage, bags and all things travel accessories for well over 100 years now. With the iconic stag’s head (that symbolises the joy and promise of new adventure according to ancient mythology) as its logo, each piece is responsibly made and rigorously tested. And to back up the claims of durability, the brand confidently offers a 10 Year Warranty on each and every product. Quite impressive, don’t you think? No wonder it was the luggage of choice for James Bond himself in the 1971 hit Diamonds are Forever.

Antler’s latest drop of hard-shell luggage, dubbed the Stamford collection, is where timeless British design meets modern Japanese innovation. It is as lightweight as can be without compromising on strength and durability and is also their quietest suitcase yet offering travellers ‘whisper quiet wheels and a muted tread’. This is largely thanks to the 360-degree rotating Hinomoto wheels, which, in addition to the superiorly smooth roll, give the user enhanced control. (Hinomoto wheels, by the way, is the world’s leading luggage wheel manufacturer).

The shell is made from an exceptionally strong ‘flex’ material called polycarbonate that can withstand the roughest and toughest travel tumbles. Attached to the case are what they call telescopic handles to make it super easy to manoeuvre. Each suitcase is also fitted with internal pockets and compression packing straps to keep your beloved belongings both organised and in place.

Available in three trendy colours (Putty, Black and our personal favourite – Khaki), the collection includes the following convenient sizes:

  • Stamford Mini Crossbody – $49
  • Stamford Cabin – $299
  • Stamford Medium – $339
  • Stamford Large – $399

As indicated above, Antler also introduced the Stamford Mini Crossbody, which is essentially a mini suitcase with a detachable cross-body strap making it the perfect, matching addition to keep all your smaller possession and travel documents safe and in one place.

If travel is on the cards for you in the near future, and you’re thinking of upgrading your luggage set, we’d highly recommend giving Antler’s trendy new Stamford range a go. The look, the feel and the durability are all industry-leading, and the 10-year warranty is just the cherry on top.
