Samsung identified the gap in the market where users want metal-clad phones with premium build quality but don’t want to spend a lot of money on flagships. Hence the development of the Galaxy A8 which borrows a number of qualities from their flagship Galaxy S6 phone. It packs all the features in a slim form factor, in fact it is the slimmest Samsung smartphone available at this time. Stealing some design ideas from the S6, it comes with an all-metal unibody chassis and narrow bezel with aluminium frame. It features a 5.7 inch super AMOLED full HD display offering a resolution of 1080x1920p. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.8 GHz Exynos octa-core processor, 2GB RAM and 32GB storage.
