Nike Introduces Air Jordan XXXII

Nike has always explored the newest technology and materials with every new pair of basketball shoes. This was true back in 1987, and it is true today with their latest release, the Nike Air Jordan 32. Nike challenged its designers to push the limits of style and technology while staying true to Nike’s brand. They did an exceptional job with that challenge on the latest pair of Air Jordans. The design takes cues from the Air Jordan II’s, but that is combined with modern-day performance.

Approved by the greatest basketball star of all time, the Air Jordan XXXII features premium materials both inside the shoe and out, including FlightSpeed technology. Flyknit construction provides the shoe with exceptional flexibility. These kicks feature the very best cushioning available in basketball shoes. Herringbone traction offers pretty good on-court support.

The first colourway was given the moniker ‘Rossa Corsa’ as it was inspired by luxury Italian sports car design. The signature ‘Racing Red’ design features the word ‘Launch’ prominently displayed across the sock liner and the word “Bellissimo” on the tongue. Other features include a moulded snakeskin leather suede panel that gives off an aggressive vibe similar to that of a Ferrari supercar.

The Jordan Brand will designate October 18th as MJ Day. This is the date in 1985 that Michael Jordan was banned from the NBA for defying the organisation and wearing shoes that did not fit with their uniform code. On this date, Nike will release a classic colourway called ‘Bred’ that features the banned logo on the inner tongue. The Jordan brand will also release a low version of the shoe on that date, for the first time in history.
