Drink All Night for $4.41 at ALDI’s Boujee New Wine Bar

If you’re looking for further proof ALDI is the greatest shop known to man, you just found it. Adding to its impressive repertoire, the German supermarket icon has just announced the opening of the Trophy Room, a new pop-up bar in Sydney serving up some of its most prized wines and cheeses, without the hefty price tag. That’s right. Straight from the middle aisle of mystery, the best new wine bar in Sydney arrives courtesy of ALDI. What a time to be alive.

Kicking off in Sydney’s CBD for two days only, from Friday 15 to Saturday 16 July, the ALDI wine bar promises a seriously fun night out, not to mention, value for money. There are limited seats available, however, those lucky enough to nab a seat will enjoy a full night at the bar for just $4.41 – the cost of a glass of one of ALDI’s most prized wines and an equally awarded accompanying cheese platter! How good!

According to ALDI, the Trophy Room is all about authenticity – real products, real prices and plain old good times. Everything on the menu is priced in a way that is reflective of the actual cost of the products, just as if you were to buy them and enjoy them at home. ALDI is for the people, not partaking in all those upmarket trends that most restaurants and bars seem to love.

Helping people save money is in ALDI’s blood, but their most recent endeavour has been inspired by recent findings that a massive 44 per cent of Australians have cut back on going out to restaurants and bars this year due to the rising cost of living. With the tightening of wallets around the nation, ALDI is here to give hard-working Aussies a night out without breaking the bank.

Get dressed up in your finest- you will be welcomed with a gin cocktail before digging into the wines and cheeses. Wines on offer include a classic Pinot Grigio and a Pinot Noir from Otago in New Zealand. If you’re more excited about the cheesy side of things, you can expect a triple cream brie and a smooth blue cheese for $0.62.

“Quite simply, ALDI wins hands-down when it comes to price and quality,” Jason Bowyer, ALDI wine expert and buying director said. “At a time when consumers are cutting back, they don’t have to compromise when they shop with us. Our wines have been created by some of the best winemakers in the world and judged by the harshest critics to take home many of the most prestigious awards in the industry.”

Aussies who fancy a seat at the bar will have to be quick as The Trophy Room is open for only two nights. To select a sitting and purchase tickets, visit the link below.
