Samsung has unveiled its new Galaxy Book and its Galaxy Tab S3, both designed to enhance user productivity, entertainment and mobility.
The Galaxy Book is a lightweight 2-in-1 tablet described as a “productivity powerhouse.” It’s built for Windows 10 and offers the full desktop Microsoft Office experience. The screen can support HDR video content, and the tablet has been calibrated with Aussie 4G networks for a greater online experience. Available in two models – the Samsung Galaxy Book 12-inch is equipped with a 7th Generation Intel Core i5 processor, Dual Core 3.1GHz and the 10.6-inch with an Intel Core m3 processor, Dual core 2.6GHz.
Offering cinematic display and sound, the Galaxy Tab S3 is a 9.7-inch tablet with a heavy focus on entertainment. It’s built with a Super AMOLED display, quad-stereo speakers and headphones tuned by AKG. Optimised for gaming, the Galaxy Tab S3 includes Vulkan API for superior graphics and Game Launcher for an enhanced user interface and personalised gaming experience. It too has been improved for Australian 4G networks.
The new Tab and 2-in-1 are complemented by a refined S Pen that can be used for a natural writing experience. The S Pen includes PDF Annotation for easy editing and professional-level drawing with Advanced Drawing Tools. Also, Samsung has worked closely with Staedtler to develop the Noris Digital stylus, which delivers all the benefits of the S Pen with the look and feel of a real pencil.
Anyone who orders the Galaxy Book before the 12th September will receive a complimentary Staedtler Pen and Samsung Multiport adapter valued at RRP $198. After that, it’s sold separately.
Samsung’s newest portable devices are available from July 28th.
