Stranger Things is Taking Over Grill’d Sydney

Stranger Things fans get ready because the storied Netflix franchise is backing up that wild installation on Sydney’s iconic Bondi Beach from last Friday by taking over a Grill’d store in the CBD. The takeover aligns with the release of Stanger Things Season 4, and the brands have collided on the release of the limited edition Demogorgon Burger in the process. We can’t think of a better watch party meal than this, and the burgers will be available at Grill’d restaurants (and delivery) Australia wide until 16 June 2022.

With the nostalgic ’80s supernatural fan favourite coming back for its fourth and penultimate series, Netflix has collaborated with Grill’d to mark the special occasion.

If you’re looking to take your Stranger Things watch party to the next level, drop into Grill’d at the Galeries in Sydney CBD as a rift has opened alongside a complete makeover, transforming the location into the Upside Down. You’ll be able to step through the rift into an immersive world complete with vines, floating spores and interactive experiences. There’s also a national promotion for Relish Members, with the major prize, a trip for two to San Francisco to experience the Stranger Things: The Experience fan exhibit.

“Every Grill’d burger is made using the freshest all-natural ingredients so I guarantee you’ll be rating this Demogorgon burger an eleven out of ten. Netflix and Grill’d partnering on this phenomenal series have been a monster journey. The best way to immerse yourself in the new season is by defeating your very own Demogorgon, alongside the gang from Hawkins,” said Ben Goss, Chief Marketing Officer.

“Stranger Things is a global phenomenon that continues to entertain people of all ages. Netflix is thrilled to celebrate the fandom of Stranger Things with Grill’d in Australia. What better way to mark the new season premiere with the release of this epic Demogorgon Burger,” said Eduardo Mendez, Netflix ANZ Head of Marketing Partnerships.

Alongside the launch of the store takeover, Grill’d have released the limited-edition Demogorgon Burger with grass-fed Australian beef pattie, roasted peppers, dill pickles, and cos lettuce, smothered in backyard burger sauce and sour cream. And to give it an extra bite, a dangerously delicious buffalo dipping sauce (the red bit). The Demogorgon Burger is available for a limited time at all Grill’d restaurants Australia wide and Delivered exclusively via Grill’d Delivery and Uber Eats app linked below.
