Samsung is looking to help you get your move on. “The notion that we do everything stationary at a desk is a thing of the past, and people need premium devices built for our new reality,” explains Samsung Electronics America’s Senior Vice President and General Manager, Alanna Cotton. “By offering a seamless, premium user experience, Galaxy Chromebook helps you effortlessly switch between streaming, creative projects, word processing, and more.” Samsung’s new version of a Chromebook redefines what that tool can be, and offers greater freedom for mobile computing.
Samsung included a bevy of technical innovations in the new Samsung Galaxy Chromebook, starting with an AMOLED display. The screen features a slim 3.9mm bezel for a near-infinite appearance and for a more immersive experience, whether you’re gaming, sharing photos, or editing videos. Samsung is also working on releasing a Chromebook with HDR400 for even higher contrast graphics. The release will also feature Ambient EQ capabilities to help prevent eye fatigue while giving a more vivid experience.
The Galaxy Chromebook also comes with plenty of productivity tools, such as a built-in pen. With the pen, you can write, draw, and navigate using the Galaxy Chromebook. It will also come with Google Assistant. Plus, the Galaxy Chromebook meets the rigorous standards of the Project Athena innovation program thanks to its responsiveness, instant wake, and battery life. The Galaxy Chromebook relies on the latest 10th Gen Intel Core i5 processor paired with Intel Wi-Fi 6. Finally, you’ll be able to stay connected with the Galaxy Chromebook through Click-to-Call and Messaging apps. You can sync with your other android devices as well.
“For years, students have come to love Chrome OS in classrooms around the world—but today, Chromebooks are being used for so much more, by the younger generation and working professionals alike. As we see the demand for premium Chromebook experiences rise, we are investing more and more with partners like Samsung to build the next generation of flagship Chrome product innovations and offerings,” said Kan Liu, the Senior Director of Product Management at Google. If the new Samsung Galaxy Chromebook is any indication of what is coming, then the future looks very promising.
