Purveyors of fine wrist-adornments Tag Heuer have officially launched their 2017 catalogue fresh off the back of Baselworld 2017, and there are some great timepieces and updates in the lineup. Taking place at their flagship store on Pitt St, Sydney last night, the launch event saw new and refreshed versions of the Carrera Heuer-02t tourbillon, Link series, Aquaracer, Carrera Heuer-01 Skeleton and Carrera Heuer-01 Drive Timer Red Bull Racing Edition, but the stand out of this year’s newest offerings is undoubtedly the vintage inspired Autavia Heuer – one of the most anticipated watches of Baselworld this year.
The event was also the big reveal for Tag’s Connected Modular 45 Tourbillon. Featuring an original concept which is brand new in the field of connected watches, the connected module is interchangeable with an Haute Horlogerie mechanical module – 3 hands or Chronograph Tourbillon.
The connected module can be completed by purchasing a Swiss mechanical movement module such as a 3 hands Calibre 5, or the most prestigious of Grande Complication timepieces, the ultimate expression of the watchmaker’s art – the tourbillon. The Chronograph Tourbillon Heuer 02-T, with a titanium and carbon case, is COSC certified.
TAG Heuer is today the only manufacturer in the world able to reach this level of production.
