TAG Heuer Revolutionises the Tourbillon with the Carrera Calibre Heuer 02T Nanograph

TAG Heuer’s wildly popular Carrera collection continues to evolve. For proof, look no further than the Carrera Calibre Heuer 02T Tourbillon Nanograph. Recently introduced at the Geneva watch fair, the stunning watch breaks new technological ground. Specifically, it includes a hairspring made of a proprietary carbon composite, which regulates the Heuer 02T manufacture movement. Thanks to an adjoining tourbillon mechanism, TAG Heuer’s latest meets the official standards for classification as a chronometer.

Taking direct cues from the nanoscopic pattern of the hairspring’s carbon-composite material, TAG Heuer’s Carrera Calibre Heuer 02T Tourbillon Nanograph features sandblasted and fine-brushed hexagons on the movement plate. The plate is visible through an open-worked, multi-layered dial of labyrinthine proportion. Emanating with brilliant complexity, bright neon colour, and SuperLuminova markings, the watch is an endless sight to behold.

Between its skeletonised design, revolutionary hairspring, and tourbillon mechanism, the Carrera Calibre Heuer 02T Tourbillon Nanograph harmonises tradition and innovation to superb effect. As such, the brand continues to push its own Swiss avant-garde heritage to wild extremes. In the words of TAG Heuer Product Director Guy Bove: “The Carrera Calibre Heuer 02T Tourbillon Nanograph is a force of disruption in Haute Horlogerie.”
