Nike Blazer Low x MEDICOM TOY

Nike isn’t letting the year go without one more big collaboration. This time, it’s Japanese collectible toy brand MEDICOM TOY bringing its twist to the Blazer Low. The Blazer Low originated as a basketball shoe but it’s transitioned into the skating world, making it perfect for 2020 given how prolific Nike’s skating footwear has been this year. MEDICOM’s take on the shoe is a furry affair, taking cream faux fur and covering the shoe with it. Head to Nike on Boxing Day to cop.

adidas Samba Vegan Shoes

The Samba made waves a few weeks ago when Jonah Hill released his take on it. adidas is keeping the momentum going with an entirely vegan take on it. It has the same look and feel of the original, maintaining the trademark T-toe. The only differences are the materials which include a recycled synthetic upper and synthetic lining. It’s set to release next year on 14th January.

adidas Micropacer Shoes

If you’re looking to get your steps up this holiday season, the Micropacer is for you. adidas is throwing it back to 1984 with this black leather shoe. The biggest feature of it is obviously the built-in fitness tracker which was a first for the brand when it first dropped. Shoes may have seen plenty of technological innovation since then but there’s still a novelty factor to having a tracker on the shoe. The Micropacer drops on 31st December, ushering in a new year.

This one represents ‘M’ in the collections and is inspired by German porcelain manufacturer Meissen. This white and floral colourway is specifically inspired by a traditionally handcrafted vase and brings a vintage take to an otherwise modern-looking shoe. Jeff Staple x Allbirds Tree Dasher

Allbirds has teamed up with sneaker royalty and Staple Pigeon founder Jeff Staple for an inverted take on its footwear. Notably, this take puts the carbon footprint of the shoe +9.2 on display for all to see.
